Let’s go to Brazil
July 17 - 25, 2026
Women Only
9 Days of Culture, Community, & Island Wellness for the Girls
Brazil is a place that you feel deep in your bones when you visit. The music, the warmth, the way people spill into the streets singing and dancing, and the immediate connection to nature and joy.
People fall in love with Brazil because it reminds you how to be present, expressive, and fully alive. Get off the beaten path and really witness this country with us!
We’ll spend the first part of the trip in Rio de Janeiro with 4 nights of excitement. Think live music nights and samba lessons, late dinners, beach days, ocean swims, shopping trips, and soaking up the energy that makes this city so electric. It’s vibrant, social, a little
wild...and impossible not to love.
Then we slow everything down for intentional connection on a beautiful island called Ilha Grande. A place with no cars - just the jungle, stars, and space to breathe. We have our own private beach in a baller Airbnb together and group meals, a swimming pool, and great vibes. Here it’s about yoga, wellness, boat days, waterfalls, swimming, hiking, and letting your nervous system reset.
This retreat is about balance between movement and stillness, with a community of new friends letting loose in a beautiful place together.

Trip Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival day in Rio de Janeiro begins with a casual orientation to meet the group and review the week ahead. Then dive into Brazilian culture with a fun samba dance class to shake off travel fatigue. We’ll end the evening with a welcome dinner, great food, and your first caipirinha.
Day 2: Spend the afternoon enjoying the beach culture of Ipanema Beach with açaí, coconut water, and a fun lesson in Brazilian beach soccer from a local carioca. After free time exploring the markets and shops around Ipanema, we regroup for a night out in Lapa, home to the iconic Selarón Steps. The evening features live music, bar hopping, and plenty of dancing as Rio’s nightlife comes alive.
Day 3: Start the day slowly in Copacabana Beach with time to bike the coastline, swim, relax in the sand, or explore at your own pace. In the evening, we hike Dois Irmãos at golden hour for sweeping sunset views over Rio’s coastline and jungle. The night continues with a respectful visit to a nearby favela to enjoy local music and connect with the community.
Day 4: Start the day visiting Christ the Redeemer, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, with panoramic views over Rio de Janeiro. The afternoon is free for lunch, shopping, or relaxing before preparing for the next part of the journey. In the evening, we celebrate our final Rio night at Pedra do Sal with live samba, dancing, and vibrant street energy.
Day 5: We’ll travel by private van to Ilha Grande, a car-free island off the coast of Rio de Janeiro known for its jungle, clear water, and quiet beaches. The afternoon is free to swim, kayak, relax in a hammock, or explore the village at your own pace. In the evening, we’ll gather for a group dinner and learn to cook moqueca, a traditional Brazilian dish, as we settle into the slower rhythm of island life.
Day 6: Begin the day on Ilha Grande with gentle yoga, breathwork, and grounding practices to ease into the island’s slower rhythm. The rest of the day is open for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, or surfing, with meals enjoyed together at our private house by the beach. In the evening, you can choose to join an optional bioluminescent tour and watch the water glow after sunset.
Day 7: The day begins with morning yoga, journaling, and group reflection on the beaches of Ilha Grande. In the afternoon, we hike to Feiticeira Waterfall for a swim and continue on to a secluded beach along the trail. The evening is free to explore the village, enjoy dinner, and take in local music at your own pace.
Day 8: Start the day with a gentle morning meditation before a full-day boat tour around Ilha Grande, exploring hidden coves, snorkeling with fish and turtles, and soaking in the island’s natural beauty. Return in the evening to freshen up for a farewell dinner in town, sharing stories and laughter. The night ends with live music and a joyful celebration of your time on the island.
Day 9: On the final morning, we’ll start with reflection and a closing meditation to integrate the journey’s experiences. Then there’s time to pack, say goodbyes, and savor the last moments on Ilha Grande. In the afternoon, we transfer back to Rio de Janeiro, with departures in the evening or the option to stay an extra night and extend the magic.
Meet Your Trip Guide: Maria
Brazilian people really give you a blueprint for how to live your life more simply, but also more fully. They don’t really get upset, they mind their business and just soak in the good vibes. I was honored to be a witness and to change for the better into my very own “versao Brasiliera.”
It took me some courage to travel to Brazil, I won’t lie. I put it off for years because it was such a huge country that I heard was “sketchy” or dangerous and even though I’m a seasoned traveler, I was a bit hesitant about it. Well, I’m SO glad I got the drive to visit this year and spent 2 months to discover my new favorite country in the world.
My time in Rio de Janeiro was electric, meeting lots of locals and partying hard and often past sunrise. Then, I got a real reset in Ilha Grande and the mountains of Chapada Diamantina, getting to intimately connect with Brazil’s beautiful nature. Join me to find out why it is truly a special place!
Meet Your Local Guide: Bruna
Hi everyone! My name is Bruna, and it is so nice to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am a certified yoga teacher and Airbnb host based in Rio de Janeiro. I was born here, but moved to the United States when I was 11. Two years ago, I chose to return home, and it has been one of the most meaningful decisions I have ever made.
Since coming back, I’ve found not only a strong sense of belonging, but also a diverse and welcoming community of both locals and foreigners. There’s something unique about the way life unfolds here: it encourages you to be present and embrace each day as an opportunity for joy. Truly, I think that’s exactly what draws people to Rio: an instinct to live fully, be present, and experience the abundant excitement of just, being alive!
Whether I’m teaching yoga, working from a cafe in Copacabana, or spending time by the ocean, there’s a natural ease to everyday life here that I feel incredibly grateful for and something I truly wish more people could experience.
I am so excited to share with you everything Brazil has to offer! See you on the beach.
