Why an All-Women’s Retreat?

Women’s spaces are sacred.

There’s truly no better place to relax and soften than when you’re surrounded by women.

The trust is there.

The support is there.

Organically, you begin to ease into one another.

Our boat day in Ilha Grande

Quickly, you share your fears, your wants, your quirks.

In a room of ladies that can understand the heartache.

The belittlement.

The devaluation.

The chaos and trauma of being a woman in this world.

Next thing you know it, you’re crying….then laughing.

That’s how our women’s retreat felt.

Journaling and reflecting in our shared island villa

A group of very different women, in different stages of life.

Sometimes, it appears you have no commonality besides being a woman, and that’s the beautiful part.

But, you still can relate.

Mutual respect, admiration, and kindness surround you.

You release.

Before our ecstatic dance workshop

Together, you ecstatic dance next to the ocean.

You find inspiration at sunrise yoga together.

You create some inside jokes while cuddled next to each other on the big comfy couch.

You learn about their life back home over shared meals.

And too often, time goes by quicker than you’d like.
Before you know it you’re back to reality, no longer on a remote island with your new friends.

And it hits you that you truly got a reset for a while.

Away from the grind of your daily life at home.

Something inside you has been changed, though.

Come home to yourself in Brasil

Brazil seriously impacted you.

And you’re a better woman for having experienced it.
